How can I resolve misleading subscription details with Unacademy?
My sister purchased the Unacademy Plus subscription for the NEET UG course. As per the promises made by the counselor, she was led to believe that she would have access to both online and offline lecture recordings. However, upon further investigation, it has come to my attention that access to offline session recordings is only available through an Iconic Subscription. My sister, being a minor, was manipulated by the counselor and convinced to purchase the course with the expectation of having access to offline lectures. It is unacceptable for Unacademy to mislead students and provide false information regarding the services included in the subscription. She now wants to study from the offline batch lectures. As her older brother, I have already sent 3-4 emails to the help team, but they did not provide a satisfactory solution. Even when I called the counselor, she started shouting at me and used abusive language. Please guide me on what I should do.
If the counselor misled your sister about the course details, it’s a case of consumer rights violation.
