Dear Client, Receiving expired medicine is a grave violation of consumer rights on part of the online platform. Under the consumer protection regime of 2019, you are entitled to file a consumer complaint with the District Consumer complaint Redressal Forum, in addition to which you can also file a complaint with the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for selling expired drugs. I hope this answer helps. In case of future queries, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

You should first complain to the online platform and ask for a refund or replacement. Keep all proof like bills and photos. If they don’t help, file a complaint with the appropriate department or in consumer court for selling expired medicine. You may also claim compensation for the inconvenience caused. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assist you with the best course of action. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
