What to do if institute denies refund after one month?

My son has been preparing for JEE at an institute since January 2024, but now he wants to prepare from home and is seeking a refund from the institute. However, the institute is denying the refund, stating that it’s only available within the first month. What should I do now?

If the institute refuses to refund after the stipulated period, you can file a consumer complaint in the Consumer Court. You may also approach the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum for an unfair trade practice claim. Ensure to keep proof of payments and communication with the institute.
