How to file a complaint for threats and confinement?

Good morning, sir. I am a 26-year-old girl and a government servant. My parents have decided to marry me off to a person I don’t like. They have been pressuring me, beating me, and threatening to kill me because I am in love with another person for the past 7 years. He is also a government servant, and we both want to marry. We have expressed our wishes to our families, but my parents are not accepting due to inter-religion issues. They are pressuring me to marry urgently. My boyfriend’s family has accepted our marriage, but my brothers, mother, uncle, and relatives have been threatening to kill me, my boyfriend, and his family. They are also threatening to disrupt our jobs. They even forcefully locked me up, restricted me from going to my office, and snatched my phone. They are trying to file false cases like cheating and rape against my boyfriend. I have decided to go to the SP office to file a complaint. Please guide me on how to proceed.

Ma’am, you should immediately file a police complaint for threats, wrongful confinement, and harassment and request a protection from the police. Your parents cannot force you into a marriage, as you have the right to choose a partner. Consider seeking help from women's organizations and legal aid. You also have the right to marry interfaith under the Special Marriage Act. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
