What should I do if facing threats in a marital dispute?

I got married on 6th May 2023. Just two days after the marriage, my wife started talking to another man and made inappropriate comments, even revealing private conversations between us. She has also insulted my family. Later, she found some of my old videos with another girl. Now she refuses to live at my house and prefers staying at her parents' home. Whenever I try to talk to her, her father threatens to file false cases based on the videos and photos, including dowry harassment, and says I won’t get bail. The girl is also a minor. Please advise me on what I should do legally.

If your wife is a minor, the marriage may be void. You can file a police complaint against her family for blackmail or false threats. Keep proof of conversations and approach a family court for annulment or divorce. Do not give in to illegal pressure. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
