Section 24 Of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955
It states that -
If the court observes that any one of the spouses does not have an independent way to earn a living, the court can order the other spouse to provide or meet the expenses of case proceedings.
This application for the payment of expenses for the case proceedings must be disposed of within 30 days after the notice filed by the wife or husband.
