Can I take legal action against banks for delays?

I am consistently facing issues with banks. They unnecessarily delay the processing of my requests and keep me in the loop without resolution. Could you please let me know if I can legally file a case against them?

Dear Client, for addressing this grievance, you may file a complaint against the bank, at the Ombudsman under the RBI's Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021. If the grievance remains unresolved, approach the consumer commission. Thank you

Dear Client, You, taking legal action for the said grievance is possible. File a complaint to the Bank’s Ombudsman under RBI’s integrated ombudsman scheme 2021, alleging the deficiency in services provided by the bank. I hope this answer helps. In case of future queries, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.

If the bank is unnecessarily delaying your requests repeatedly, you can take legal action against them. First, file a written complaint with the bank’s grievance cell. If you do not get a proper response within 30 days, you can approach the Banking Ombudsman or Consumer Court. Keep all related documents safe as evidence.
