Can I take legal action for undisclosed issues in purchased house?
I bought a house where the seller claimed he built it for his family. However, after registration, we found out he is a builder. There are major issues with the internal water piping and some issues with the materials used. We don’t have any proof of what he said during the sale. Is there anything we can do?
You can file a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act for misrepresentation if the seller lied about the property. For the issues with plumbing and materials, you may file a case for defective construction and seek compensation or repairs. Consult a lawyer to explore your legal options.
