How should I respond if wife’s boyfriend threatens harm during mutual divorce?

My wife and I filed for mutual divorce because of her involvement with another person. During the six-month mutual divorce period, she stays with me, her husband. However, her boyfriend and his father have repeatedly threatened to come to my house and harm me. I have filed three police NC reports under IPC 504 and 506 in the last three months. How should I handle this situation?

Sir, you should continue filing police complaints and ensure proper documentation of each incident. Request the police to provide adequate protection or seek a restraining order against the boyfriend and his father. Consider taking legal action for criminal intimidation. It is also advisable to consult with a lawyer about other civil remedies like a protective order. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
