Dear client, as per your query, to correct the Date of Birth (DOB) in your Aadhaar, you are required to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or an authorized enrolment centre, as this is particular update cannot be completed entirely online. At the centre, you must first submit a valid documentary proof reflecting the correct date of birth, such as a Birth Certificate, Passport, or SSLC/Matriculation certificate. A nominal fee of ₹50 is charged for the processing the update request. As per UIDAI guidelines, the date of birth in Aadhaar can generally be corrected only once in a lifetime, except in exceptional circumstances supported by appropriate authority approval. I hope this answer was helpful. In case of further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank You.
To correct your date of birth, first apply to the Registrar of Births and Deaths under Section 15 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 for correction. If it is refused, file a declaratory suit under Section 34 of the Specific Relief Act, 1963. With the court order, you can update your CBSE, Aadhaar, PAN, and college records.
