How can we sell property when Khasra record is missing?

I am looking for an advocate for a property matter. We own a property in Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, but its land record is not available in the Khasra. The property was purchased in 1992, and the builder mentioned multiple Khasra numbers in the sale deed. However, the builder’s name is not found in the land records. All the Khasra numbers mentioned in the deed are already fully occupied, and no valid Khasra exists to register the property. Although the property is recorded with Nagar Nigam and property tax is being paid, we are unable to sell the property due to the missing Khasra details.

Since your property has no valid Khasra number, you must apply to the Tehsildar for land survey and demarcation based on your 1992 sale deed and Nagar Nigam records. After the survey, request correction of revenue records. Once the correct Khasra is updated in your name, the property can be legally sold.
