How to get lost property documents?

Hi, I need help applying for duplicate property registration documents for my home located in East Baldev Park, Delhi-51 area. This property was transferred from my grandfather to my mother during 1996–97. I may be able to provide old registration papers. The original registration was done in Seelampur near Shahdara. Please let me know if this can be done, the charges, and the timeline. I am providing my Swiss phone number and can receive WhatsApp messages.

You can apply for duplicate registration documents at the Sub-Registrar office where the original property was registered (Seelampur, Shahdara). You need a written application, identity proof, proof of ownership (like old registration papers), and affidavit stating loss of original documents. The registrar may take 2–6 weeks. Legal assistance can help speed up and ensure correct submission. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
