What legal action can be taken against over charges on products?
I recently bought curd on which the MRP is printed as ₹10, but the shopkeeper demanded ₹12. Is this legal?

Charging above MRP is illegal under Legal Metrology Act, 2009. If MRP is ₹10, seller cannot demand ₹12. You can complain to the District Legal Metrology Officer or Consumer Commission for overcharging. You may seek refund and penalty against the shopkeeper.
