To help recover your money and prevent others from being scammed, file a detailed cybercrime complaint at cybercrime.gov.in and your local cyber police station, including all evidence like chat logs, payment details and screenshots of interactions with the fraudulent tutor. You can also file a consumer complaint under the Consumer Protection Act if you paid for services that were falsely advertised.

You can file a complaint with your local cyber crime police station and also report this on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal providing all evidence like chat logs, payment details, and other communications with the fraudulent tutor. Additionally, if you paid through UPI/net banking, immediately report this to your bank and file a dispute for the transaction.
