Can I legally stop someone from interfering with identity documents?

My father submitted a Voter ID application on my behalf when I turned 18. I asked him to delete or cancel my voter registration because I no longer live in that city. However, he still informed the SIR officer that my voter ID should not be deleted. I want to send him a strong legal warning asking him to stop interfering with matters related to my Voter ID, Aadhaar card, and other personal documents. I want the warning to be taken seriously.

You can submit a written request to the concerned election authority regarding your voter registration and clarify that you no longer reside at the earlier address. Keep copies of your application and communications. For Aadhaar and other identity documents, use only the official correction or update process. If someone is misusing your documents or personal information, seek appropriate legal advice and make a formal complaint if necessary. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
