Can we perform marriage in one day?
I am a Jain boy, and if the girl is a Brahmin, can we get married in one day with a religious ceremony and skip the notice period?

If you are marrying in a religious ceremony, there is no notice period required. However, if you want to register the marriage under the Special Marriage Act, there’s a mandatory 30-day notice period. Under the Hindu Marriage Act, there is no notice period given that all legal requirements meet.

In India, you can marry in one day with a religious ceremony, but it depends on the type of marriage. If you marry under the Special Marriage Act, a 30-day notice period is required. However, for marriages under personal laws like the Hindu Marriage Act, there is no specific notice period, as long as both parties meet the legal requirements.
