How can we marry under Islamic law and register secretly?

We are Muslims and want to marry according to Islamic laws, while also registering the marriage. We don't want our families to know about this. What is the procedure, and how much time does it take to get a date for registration? We don’t have any witnesses either. Will you assist us with the entire process, from the Nikah to registration and any other legal procedures?

Sir, to marry under Islamic law, you can conduct the Nikah with an Imam and two Muslim witnesses. For legal recognition, register the marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, at the Marriage Registrar’s office. You’ll need to submit an application and provide two witnesses (can be friends). The registration takes around 30 days after the notice period. A lawyer can help with the entire process, from Nikah to registration.
