Will court accept surname spelling mistakes in marriage documents?

My question is about documents needed for court marriage. We have Aadhaar, PAN, and 10th marksheet for DOB proof. But in my partner’s 10th marksheet, her surname spelling is slightly different from Aadhaar and PAN. The name and photo match. Will the court accept this?

If your partner’s 10th marksheet shows a small surname error but matches by photo and date, it’s usually accepted. However, if the registrar refuses, you can give an affidavit explaining the mismatch. Get it notarized and submit it with other documents, it works in most cases.
