Property boundary wall dispute

My Father-in-law received a letter in my name and my husband's name from Kerala court that my neighbor filed a petition against me and my husband (joint owners) saying we have destroyed the lateral support of their boundary wall where the lateral support resides in our land. The court issued an injection order not to do any activities on our land until the matter is resolved, we were in the process of building a house on our property, to demolish the old house on the property, during this time the building workers removing the old rock stones of our old boundary wall, accidentally 2 stones of my neighbors fell off. After talking to them, as we are living outside of India, and it is not easy to attend any court case in Kerala, they agreed to withdraw the case if we pay their court expense (injection order expense) plus leave 3 feet of land from our property as a protection of their wall. We would like to know what we must do in due course, like the process of withdrawal of the case.

Ma’am, if you want to resolve this matter amicably, talk to you neighbor and appear through video call in court; mention in the court that you and your neighbor are ready to resolve it mutually as both of you do not want to continue with court case. Later a proper MOU shall be signed and notarized between you and your neighbor; once all the issues are resolved that there should be no further legal issues between both of you.
