Can a school withhold my Transfer Certificate over unpaid fees?
I completed my Class 12 in 2020. At that time, my family's financial condition was poor, so I was unable to clear all my school dues. As a result, the school refused to issue my Transfer Certificate (TC) and Class 12 result. Later, I managed to get admission to a local college and completed my B.Sc. degree by submitting an affidavit. I have now taken a two-year break because I could not pay my school fees. I now want to pursue higher studies. Are there any legal options available for me to obtain my Transfer Certificate (TC)?
