Can I register marriage anywhere in India?
Where and how to register a marriage with both the partners belonging to different states. Can it be done online or it has to be offline only?
The application for the registration of marriage is given in offline mode to the marriage registrar, and there are different laws in different acts for the registration of marriage, but in the case of court marriage, you can register your marriage under the Special Marriage Act, but according to Section 5 of the Special Marriage Act, they must have resided for a period of 30 days in the district where the application to the marriage registrar has been given.
