Principal demanding fee before issuing CLC — what to do?

I am in the second year of B.Sc. but didn’t pay the ₹15,000 readmission fee. Now the principal is asking for the full amount to issue my College Leaving Certificate (CLC). I don’t want to study there anymore. What are my options?

You can write a formal application requesting waiver of readmission fees since you no longer wish to continue. If they refuse to issue the CLC, file a complaint with the education department or university grievance cell, as CLC cannot be denied for non-payment of future/unused services.
