Received FDP after release deed—should I attend court now?

I have signed a release deed and power of attorney to attend court proceedings related to my father’s property, which was given to my elder brother. He lost the case in a civil court to the widow of my late fourth brother and is entitled to a 1/4 share. Now I have received an FDP notice. Should I attend or not?

If you received Final Decree Proceedings (FDP), you should attend court to protect your rights and check what share you’re entitled to. Even if your brother lost, you may still have a claim. Discuss with a civil lawyer to confirm your role in the case. Do not ignore court notices. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
