How to register a marriage in India for NRI couple?
Hello Team, I am a Non-Resident Hindu Indian (NRI) and a Belgian citizen. My wife is an Indian Muslim, and we both reside in Belgium. We were legally married in Denmark in December 2022. At the time of marriage, we were both Indian citizens. We have had our marriage documents apostilled and have registered our marriage in Belgium. Now, we wish to register our marriage in India as my wife wants to retain her Indian citizenship. Could you please advise us on the legal procedures to register our marriage in India?
