Buyer didn’t transfer RC—traffic challans coming on me?

I sold my e-rickshaw in 2020, but the buyer has not transferred the RC yet. Traffic challans are still coming in my name. What should I do?

Immediately send a legal notice to the buyer asking him to transfer the RC (Registration Certificate). Also, inform the RTO about the sale with a copy of sale documents. You can apply for Form 29 & 30. Until RC is transferred, you’re legally responsible for challans and accidents. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
