Can I file a caveat against the bank in court?

I wanted to know if I can file a caveat against the bank. The bank is constantly threatening me that they will move to court regarding my property, on which I took a business loan and am unable to pay. I am looking to buy more time, but the bank is not granting any. To keep a watch, I want to file a caveat, but I am confused about which court I should file it in. Please suggest.

Sir, you can file a caveat in the court where the bank might file its case, like the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) or Civil Court and  filing a caveat does not delay the process, but it gives you a chance to respond. It is best to consult an expert lawyer for help with filing and negotiating more time with the bank. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
