Can I file blackmail charges for threats in extra-marital affair?

I had an extra-marital affair with my ex. When his wife found out, she threatened me, saying that if I didn't end the relationship, she would create a scene at my workplace and bring a women’s group to my house to do the same. She also threatened to harm me. In this case, can we file a blackmailing case?

Ma’am, you can file a case for threats to harm you. Additionally, if she is using threats to force you to act in a certain way, it could be considered blackmail. You should approach the police and provide evidence of the threats made against you. It's advisable to consult a lawyer for proper legal guidance.
