Can I leave the company before completing 5 years contract?

I was made to sign an employment agreement for 5 years with a compensation of 15 lakhs. The yearly salary was 10 lakhs. The training offered consisted of online classes and a factory visit within India. Stay and food were provided as per per-day guidelines. Apart from that, nothing was spent on the training. The bond mentions that the money stated is for the training they provide. There's a clause stating that I cannot join any other company in the domain for 1.5 years after leaving. I want to leave the company now. But I have heard they won’t give a relieving letter or something if you leave before 5 years. What should I do?

Sir, if you believe the bond terms are unfair, gather evidence showing the training was not adequate. The non-compete clause may not be enforceable, as Indian law protects your right to work. You can challenge the bond in court or try negotiating with the company. It is best to consult an employment lawyer to explore your options and get the right guidance.
