Can legal action can be taken against misbehavior?

I am a student preparing for government competitive exams. I study all night and sleep in the morning. However, the garbage collector knocks loudly on my door while I am in deep sleep every day. This abrupt knocking causes me to wake up suddenly, leading to a headache, sleep disturbances, and I don’t feel well the whole day. Despite repeatedly telling him not to do this, he continues knocking loudly every day. What legal actions can I take against him?
