How to file petition in Supreme Court?

Recently, the Calcutta High Court (Single Bench) in WPA 15459 of 2025 and others has ruled in favour of granting pension on higher wages in cases rejected by EPFO on the basis of PF Trust Rules. A similar case has been filed in the Supreme Court as Diary No. 73679 of 2025 (Retired Officers, IOCL vs EPFO). My case is similar, and I want to attach my petition regarding rejection of higher pension by EPFO with Diary No. 73679 of 2025. Please guide me on how to file this petition, what procedure I should follow, and what would be the approximate court cost and advocate’s fees.

You should file an Intervention Application in the Supreme Court through an Advocate-on-Record, stating that your higher pension claim was wrongly rejected by EPFO on similar grounds. Attach your rejection order and relevant documents. This is faster and more economical than filing a fresh writ. Court fees are minimal, but advocate charges may vary depending on drafting and appearance. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
