Online job agreement asks penalty for inaccuracy—is it valid?

I signed an online agreement for a part-time job. There was no option to download the agreement. After submission, I saw that it states if I don’t deliver 100% accuracy, I must pay ₹7,000. The work duration is 4 days, and the promised payment is ₹14,000. Do I really have to pay if I fail to meet the accuracy requirement?

You are likely dealing with a fraud job portal. Such agreements without clear consent or official documentation are not legally enforceable. You are not legally bound to pay ₹7,000. File a complaint on the Cybercrime Portal and block their number and emails. Keep a record of all communication. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
