What should I do if wrongly implicated in departmental inquiry?

I am a Maharashtra State government employee. I have been wrongly implicated in a crime by my superior, and now I am facing a departmental inquiry. I have received a copy of the chargesheet and submitted my reply. Should I file an Original Application (OA) for quashing the departmental inquiry (DE) against me, considering I have already suffered much hardship during the tenure of the superior responsible for the DE? Will filing an OA help in the case of DE? Kindly guide me.

You can file an Original Application (OA) to quash the departmental inquiry if you believe it is motivated or unjust. However, filing an OA might delay the inquiry process and may not always be successful unless there is solid evidence of malafide intentions or procedural errors in the inquiry.
