Do I have the right to refuse shop board placement?
I have purchased a flat at first floor. On the ground floor there is a chicken shop on rent. The chicken shop owner wants to hang his shop board on my wall to the outside side of the flat. We have told him not to hang his board there and hand it under the roof outside his shop. Do I have any rights to tell him not to hang his shop board on my flat wall?
Sir, you have the right to refuse the chicken shop owner from hanging his shop board on your flat's wall, as you own the exterior of the flat. Communicate your refusal in writing, stating that the wall is your property and no alterations are allowed. If the shop owner proceeds without permission, you can file a civil suit for trespass and seek an injunction to remove the board. Consult a lawyer for further action.
