What legal action can be taken against unlawful eviction?

We have been staying at a place with a heavy deposit for over six years. The owner gave us the deposit on February 8, and the notice period was one month. We have already found another house and signed the agreement for the new place. However, the tenant in that house has not vacated yet, and we are unable to move. We have asked the current owner for some more time, agreeing to pay the rent for the extended period, as was informed to us by our broker earlier. However, the owner is not willing to give us any time and has been harassing us, threatening to break into the house or lock us in if we don't vacate immediately. We cannot move right now until we get possession of the new house. Our broker has also changed his stance and is now pressuring us to vacate. We are a family of three women, and we have no place to go. What should we do?
