What to do if employer refuses NOC?
I am working as an SBI clerk and did not obtain an NOC while filling out the IBPS PO application form, nor did I mention my work experience in the form. Now, I have been shortlisted for the interview, but my employer is not providing me with an NOC. What can I do in this scenario?
Dear Client, You can request them to give the NOC through a formal application, if they reject it, then you can try sending them a legal notice and if they do not provide the NOC even then, you can approach the Labour courts to seek justice. I hope this was helpful. For further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you.
If your employer is refusing to provide an NOC, you can still attend the IBPS PO interview, as NOC is generally not mandatory for appearing in the exam or interview. Ensure you honestly clarify your current employment status if asked. Alternatively, request a relieving or experience certificate after resignation to regularize your experience for future joining.
