Can I get bail if old NIA case reopened?

I have two cases in the same trial court. I’ve been appearing regularly in one for 13 years. Another case under Section 138 NIA was marked "closed uncontested" but has now resurfaced. Can I apply for anticipatory bail, considering my regular presence in the same court?

Yes, you can apply for anticipatory bail. Since you have been appearing regularly for another case in the same court, that shows you are not absconding. Mention this in your bail petition and include the previous case details to support your plea for no coercive action. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
