How can I check if a case is filed against me?

My bank account has been frozen due to a cyber-complaint lodged by someone in Tamil Nadu, as per Bank. They mentioned that the account was marked for debit freeze, and to unfreeze it, I need to obtain an NOC once the issue is resolved. I made a single transaction of 7 lakhs to a forex account for a friend. My question is: How can I find out if a case has been filed against me, as I haven't done anything illegal? Additionally, will this freeze affect my Visa process, even though there is no money in the account and I no longer need it? Thank you.

To resolve the issue, reach out to your bank for more details about the complaint and how to get the NOC. Keep following up using the acknowledgment number. If needed, file an RTI to learn if any case is against you. Consult a lawyer for clarification. The frozen account may not affect your Visa, but check with immigration. Once the issue is fixed, you can close the account if you don't need it. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
