How can I recover money lost in an online scam?

I am from Uttar Pradesh, but my bank is located in Pune and Mumbai. I was cheated in the name of an online business, and I transferred money to the provided bank accounts. I have already complained to the bank but am unsure whether I can get my money back from the bank or the person I transferred it to.
