I recently started using the Rapido app for auto rides in India. I recharged my digital wallet with ₹500 to use it for my rides, instead of paying cash every time. However, after recharging the wallet and securing my card with OTP, I’m unable to use the balance for rides. I contacted the Rapido team to reverse the transaction to the original mode of payment (credit card). However, the team is asking for my personal details, such as PAN or Aadhaar, to process the refund. Is it mandatory to provide PAN and Aadhaar for a refund?
