What to do if loan written off wrongly by bank?

Despite paying EMIs on time and informing the bank about the non-deduction of EMIs from my salary account, the bank did not take any action and referred my case to recovery agents. My entire loan has been written off, affecting my CIBIL report, even though I am still paying my EMIs on time.

You can first file a written complaint with the bank, explaining the issue and attaching proof of timely EMI payments. If they do not resolve it in 30 days, escalate the matter to the RBI Ombudsman and file a dispute with CIBIL. If needed, send a legal notice and file a consumer complaint for wrong reporting and mental harassment. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assistyou with the best course of action.
