Our rental agreement is getting renewed again for another 11 months. There is a lock-in period again for 6 months. Is this permissible?

Yes, it is legally allowed to include a 6-month lock-in period again in your renewed 11-month rental agreement, as long as both you and the landlord agree to it. A lock-in means you cannot leave or be asked to leave during that period without paying a penalty. Just make sure it’s clearly written in the new agreement before signing.
