What can be done if someone intentionally tries to harm you?

I have filled out your form, but it does not seem to be going through properly. Every night, I feel as if something is affecting my eyes, and it feels like my whole eyesight is being threatened. I work in media and appear in front of the camera, and my eyes feel irritated all day. I am worried that someone may be intentionally trying to harm my face or eyes. What should I do legally?

If you see someone trying to harm others you should go to the police station and file a report. Any action that puts your life at risk will result in charges under Section 125 or Section 126 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 because those sections address life-threatening activities which cause bodily harm. The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 allows you to request police women to carry out protective measures through Section 173. You must keep all CCTV footage and all messages and all medical documents as proof which can be used in court according to Sections 61 and 63 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023. The legal process needs factual evidence which shows physical damage or danger so you must get an immediate medical check to eliminate any medical explanations.

This appears to be a health and safety issue first. Immediately consult an eye specialist and get a proper medical report. If you genuinely suspect someone is harming you, file a written police complaint and attach any proof such as CCTV footage, messages, calls, or suspicious incidents. Do not accuse anyone without evidence. Medical proof is the first priority. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
