Can I recover money lost in WhatsApp trading scam?
Can I recover the full amount I lost in a WhatsApp group trading scam? The police have frozen Rs. 2 lakhs across 225 accounts, and the investigation is still ongoing. I lost Rs. 46.7 lakhs over two months, from April to May 2025. In the first week of June, I realized I had been scammed and reported it to the National Cybercrime Portal. The local police registered an FIR against the main accused under BNS Section 318(4).
