How can an informant be protected from false counter-cases?

The Supreme Court has granted a stay on carrying out the illegal construction, but the builder has continued with the illegal construction. When I reported this to the police, the builder filed a counter-case of blackmailing and molestation through someone. Can the informant be protected, as anyone could twist the complainant’s statement by filing a fake FIR? Are there any rulings regarding this issue?

If you are facing a counter-case for blackmailing or molestation after reporting illegal construction, you should seek protection under the law, such as requesting anticipatory bail or filing a complaint for false FIRs. You can approach the court to get protection for yourself from malicious legal actions. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
