How FIR can be quashed

Actually an old lady filled an FIR against me that I harassed her daughter (aged - 35+) but I wasn't present at that particular day in the place of incident where they were fighting with my mother.

You can defend yourself by providing an alibi proving your absence at the incident location. Gather evidence like CCTV footage, call records, or witnesses. You may file for quashing the FIR under Section 482 CrPC in the High Court if it's a false case. Consult a lawyer for legal assistance.

first for most you should apply for anticipatory bail and if arrest is made go for regular bail.

Under section 482 of CRPC file a petition for quashing the FIR in High Court and when the Fir is quashed file a case against them for defamation.
