How to withdraw complaint after compromise in special court?

When a complaint is pending with the SHO and both the complainant and the respondent have reached a compromise, what is the legal procedure to withdraw the complaint, especially when it has already been referred by a special court?

If both parties have compromised, the complainant can file a petition for withdrawal before the same special court. Mention that the matter is settled and request closure. In some cases, the court may still need to verify the nature of the complaint before allowing withdrawal, especially if it is a serious offence.
