I have been falsely accused in a political group fight. What can I do?
A few days ago in my village, a fight broke out between two political party groups (A & B). They threw stones at each other, and one person from group A was seriously injured and later died. People from group A filed an "attempt to murder" case against 16 people from group B. However, some of the accused are innocent and were not involved in the incident but were named intentionally.
Innocent people wrongly accused should apply for anticipatory bail and file a petition in the High Court to quash the false FIR. Collect witness statements or video proof to show they weren’t involved. Get a good local lawyer to help present your side strongly. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
