Parents tortured me, police pressuring—how to respond legally?

My parents torture me, and I have a lot of proof on WhatsApp from my mother's number. I showed the evidence to a police officer, and he arrested my parents based on it. Now my mother has filed an FIR against the officer, and the police are pressuring me to become an official witness and write a statement saying I forced the officer to arrest them. What should I do?

Submit a written statement to a magistrate or legal aid officer clarifying you didn't force the police. You have the right to protection under law. Also, file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission or SP/DSP against any police coercion. Keep all WhatsApp proof and records safe for your legal defense.
