What legal restrictions exist on government officials filming without consent?

I have noticed that many government officials have started using social media and making videos while performing their duties. In most cases, it has been observed that these officials do not get consent from people before filming them. Is there any act that prohibits this?

Government officials filming without consent may violate privacy rights under the Right to Privacy Act. If you feel your privacy is being breached, you can file a complaint with the concerned department or seek legal advice for possible action. Filming without consent may not always be allowed, depending on the situation. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
