What should I do after being falsely accused in a meeting?

During an internal society meeting, I was explaining the rules of the CHSociety when some ladies, including the committee president, vice president, and treasurer, were present. I showed a file to one lady, explaining the rules, when suddenly the committee members accused me of misbehaving with the ladies. One person called the police, and I was taken to Thane. The police officer took a complaint from the ladies without hearing my side. After an hour, he told me to go home. What should I do in this situation?

If you were falsely accused and the police did not hear your side, you should file a formal complaint with the police regarding the wrongful actions. If the situation does not resolve, you can approach a lawyer to file for defamation or wrongful detention. Document all the events and accusations for your protection.
